Staff Engineer Software Development

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, multi-tenant architecture for managing thousands of network devices
• Lead development of AI/ML-powered network analytics and predictive maintenance
• Architect integrations with major network vendors and enterprise IT systems
• Optimize platform performance for massive telemetry data streams
• Design zero-trust security models for device access and data protection
• Lead API strategy for network automation and third-party integrations
• Develop edge gateway solutions for hybrid deployments
• Mentor engineering teams and establish best practices
• Work with enterprise customers on complex technical requirements

Requirements

• 12-15 years of software development experience
• 5+ years in network management systems
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, SDN/SD-WAN, and network virtualization
• Expert-level experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Advanced experience with stream processing (Kafka, Apache Storm)
• Experience applying ML to network analytics and anomaly detection
• Proficiency in database optimization for time-series data
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with major network vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Fortinet
• Knowledge of CCNA/CCNP certification programs
• Proven track record building SaaS platforms for enterprise customers
