Staff Engineer, Security Automation

Responsibilities

• Build connective tissue across security tools including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, EDR, identity, and asset management
• Centralize security data into a single actionable picture
• Use AI as a first-class building block for LLM-augmented analysis and agentic automations
• Build frameworks and dashboards for asset inventory, vulnerability posture, and compliance evidence
• Automate large-scale problems such as vulnerability management, asset hygiene, and access reviews
• Enable the security and IR teams to leverage AI in their daily workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of security engineering experience with a focus on automation and tool-building
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for shipping production-quality security tooling
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI APIs
• Broad knowledge of cloud security, detection engineering, identity, and vulnerability management
• Understanding of AI security risks including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Ability to translate technical security trade-offs for non-technical audiences
