About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform microarchitecture, RTL design, and verification
- Develop new RTL IP for high performance PoCs
- Conduct lab bring-up, testing, and validation of RTL IPs
- Research next generation memory and storage controller features and emerging technology standards
- Work with hardware/software architects to develop innovative FPGA prototypes
- Assist software architects in developing, testing, and debugging Linux/Windows device drivers
- Participate in value proposition studies, publish papers, and file patents
Requirements
- B.S. with 10 years of experience, M.S. with 8 years, or Ph.D. with 5+ years in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- In-depth background in HDL development, Verilog coding, integration, synthesis, and debug
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Synopsys, Mentor, or Cadence
- Hands-on experience with hardware board bring-up and server system integration
- Experience with PCIe, CXL, NVMe, AXI, DDR4/5, or Ethernet protocols
- Familiarity with FPGA design tool flows, synthesis, and timing analysis is a plus
