Staff Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and develop QA/QC programs as defined in the Company’s Quality Policy standard and control plan
• Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, procedures, specifications, and reports for services, incoming material, and factory assembly
• Lead Quality incident 8D investigations by reviewing trends, tracking root causes, and coordinating corrective actions
• Implement preventive actions to reduce or prevent quality problems
• Perform internal audits of operation processes using inspection results and statistical techniques
• Define and conduct systematic and random tests to ensure proper product quality performance
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to develop and implement controls and improvements
• Monitor and analyze quality performance and handle new product capability, capacity setup, and automation
• Work with warehouse personnel to maintain material and finished goods storage with proper traceability
• Develop strategies to increase process quality performance through statistical methods and IR 4.0

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, Chemistry, Science) or a related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in quality engineering or manufacturing (FOP, SMT, Flip Chip, Underfill, Die Prepare, Die Attach, Wire Bond, Molding, or Know Good Die process)
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FTA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Deep knowledge of Quality Management Systems
• Ability to handle inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and third-party auditors

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in high volume semiconductor industry
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 auditor certifications
