Staff Engineer, Product Engineering

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical owner for product performance in High Volume Manufacturing
• Design and execute efficient test plans, test time, yield, and quality to meet factory financial goals
• Lead and implement innovative engineering solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Integrate advanced testing technologies and adopt cost-saving solutions like Test Time Reduction (TTR)
• Provide leadership in electrical failure analysis (EFA) to address RMAs and reliability
• Develop technical reports, work instructions, and test equipment guidelines
• Co-lead NPI projects to ensure smooth transfer of test technology to mass production
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in semiconductor product or test engineering
• Strong technical foundation in test engineering for memory or semiconductor devices in HVM
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies like FMEA, DMAIC, and Fishbone analysis
• Experience with statistical tools including SPC, SBL, and SYL
• Understanding of network IP integration, communication protocols, and tester connectivity
• Hands-on experience with ATE test platform operation and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) testing and failure mechanisms
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in Linux OS for test automation and scripting
• Practical programming ability in Python, SQL, C++, and Java
• Success in developing and optimizing test programs for yield and cost efficiency
