About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead design-in success for high-speed ATE products, managing customer relationships from concept through production.
- Support ATE customers across the APAC region, specifically focusing on China and Taiwan, including on-site support during critical development phases.
- Serve as the primary regional technical expert and point of contact for the Field Application Engineer (FAE) team.
- Master application-level software and collaborate with software teams to assist customers with integration.
- Collect customer feedback to collaborate with internal Design teams on novel solutions and system-level signal chain improvements.
- Create technical collateral, including demo systems, user guides, application notes, and reference designs.
- Develop and deliver on-site training for customers, sales engineers, and distributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with ATE products such as pin drivers, comparators, PPMU, and DPS.
- Knowledge of SerDes and high-speed signal integrity.
- Experience working with FPGAs and familiarity with FPGA design environments.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and signal generators.
- Ability to travel on-site (approximately 25–30%) to support customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Power Delivery Networks (PDN) for ATE systems.
- Understanding of jitter budgets, clock and data recovery schemes, and channel equalization.
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python, C#, or Matlab.
