Responsibilities

• Lead cross-squad technical initiatives to design and build modular, globally scalable backend solutions for complex supply chain operations.
• Act as the technical bridge between engineering squads and operational stakeholders to architect reliable, long-term systems.
• Define and drive engineering best practices around system design, code quality, and maintainability.
• Optimize complex data workflows and event-driven architectures to support production and scaling needs.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Shape the technical roadmap by identifying architectural bottlenecks and proposing strategic improvements.

Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering expertise in JVM-based ecosystems (Kotlin or Java).
• Strong grasp of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Proven track record designing and operating highly scalable, event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Solid understanding of modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) and observability practices.
• Ability to translate complex business or operational requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with a passion for mentoring engineers.
