Staff Engineer - NOC Services Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native solutions and analytics dashboards for proactive monitoring and network hygiene
• Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and modification
• Maintain the integrity and security of institutional data
• Design data flow diagrams to define workflows and data structure diagrams to refine database needs
• Perform code reviews and lead projects from start to finish

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with Django/Flask, React, and relational databases in microservice architectures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong experience with AWS (Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, S3, Lambda, SQS)
• Proficiency in writing unit/integration tests and hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and GIT
• Knowledge of Linux administration, Python, and BASH scripting
• Demonstrated experience building REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Experience with Agile, GRPC, GraphQL, and automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases including MySQL, Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale, technologically complex accounts
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization
