Staff Engineer - NOC Services Automation

Responsibilities

• Design and own the overall test automation framework and strategy across Voice AI and Monitoring & Analytics platforms
• Define test pyramid principles including unit, integration, contract, and E2E testing
• Lead architecture decisions for automation tooling, CI/CD test pipelines, and observability
• Own the performance testing practice including load, stress, soak, and spike testing for backend services and APIs
• Build scalable performance test harnesses using Locust, k6, or equivalent frameworks
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers on automation patterns and code quality
• Partner with product managers to define acceptance criteria and quality gates

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong automation focus
• Proven track record at Staff level owning QE strategy for complex distributed systems
• Expert-level Python for production-grade automation code
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for E2E browser automation
• Deep familiarity with FastAPI and Django
• Strong experience designing and executing performance test programs at scale
• Experience testing cloud-native platforms on GCP, AWS, or Azure and Kubernetes workloads
• Familiarity with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles
