About the Company

MetaDAO was founded to scale decision markets, a radical idea that would put markets in charge of making the world’s most important decisions. Our flagship product is a fundraising platform that uses decision markets to mitigate fraud and misallocation risk for investors.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain production services using TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres
• Implement, integrate, and modify smart contracts handling high transaction volumes
• Drive ambitious engineering initiatives from inception to completion, including specification, architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems
• 3+ years of experience with Unix systems
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure
• Experience with AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor
• Ability to make informed engineering decisions based on business context
• High agency and a team-first attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for venture-funded startups
• Knowledge of capital markets (finance, trading stocks, or crypto)
• Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript
