Staff Engineer, IPDev Layout

Responsibilities

• Design and develop critical analog, mixed-signal, and custom digital blocks
• Perform layout verification including LVS, DRC, and Antenna checks
• Provide full chip level integration support and documentation
• Manage timely delivery of block-level layouts within project schedules
• Lead planning, area/time estimation, and execution in a multi-project environment
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure project success

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in analog/custom layout using advanced CMOS processes (Planar, FinFET)
• Proficiency in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS
• Hands-on experience with layouts for PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, and Temperature sensors
• Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals such as matching, electromigration, latch-up, and crosstalk
• Ability to understand layout effects on speed, capacitance, power, and area
• BE or MTech in Electronic or VLSI Engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple tape-out support
• Proactive approach to exploring and leveraging AI-related tools in daily tasks
