Staff Engineer, Integrations

Responsibilities

• Author and submit Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for all new integrations
• Develop isolated, decoupled microservices utilizing TypeScript and Go
• Provision resources using AWS CDK across multi-region environments
• Implement and manage DynamoDB and Amazon Aurora RDS databases
• Build highly idempotent outbound APIs with exponential backoff algorithms
• Architect asynchronous webhook ingestion pipelines using AWS EventBridge and SQS
• Instrument telemetry using OpenTelemetry and design Datadog dashboards
• Ensure services enforce tenant isolation and adhere to GDPR and SOC 2 standards
• Guide the team through Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) and CI/CD quality gates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and Go
• Extensive experience with AWS (Serverless, CDK, EventBridge, SQS, Secrets Manager)
• Expert knowledge of decoupled, event-driven architectures and distributed systems
• Proficiency in application observability (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing)
• Working knowledge of AI-first coding assistants
