Staff Engineer, Facilities HVAC Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC capital budget planning and life-cycle analysis for critical equipment
• Conduct feasibility studies, cooling load calculations, and design reviews
• Lead HVAC projects from concept to commissioning, including vendor evaluations
• Monitor and maintain stable controlled environments (Temperature, %RH, Particle count)
• Manage N+1 redundancy configurations for critical utilities
• Drive decarbonization and energy-saving programs like Chiller Plant Optimization
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate project handovers to O&M teams and update As-built drawings via AutoCAD
• Supervise HVAC contractors to ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Facilities management or Engineering
• Strong focus on industrial HVAC system operations and projects
• Proven experience in the Electronics or High-Tech manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of ISO 14644 and environmental control requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• License for Professional Practice from Council of Engineers Thailand
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for mechanical/HVAC layouts
• Expertise in Chiller Plant systems, AHU/MAU operations, and psychrometric analysis
• Experience with 8D methodology for troubleshooting
