About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead HVAC project design, engineering, and execution, including capital planning, budgeting, and life-cycle analysis for critical equipment.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies, cooling load calculations, and design reviews to support production expansion and cleanroom requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end HVAC projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to ISO 14644 standards and quality requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain stable controlled environments (Temperature, %RH, Particle count, and Delta P) to ensure production compliance.
  • Manage N+1 redundancy configurations for critical utilities to mitigate the risk of production downtime.
  • Drive energy optimization and decarbonization initiatives, such as Chiller Plant Optimization and transitioning to Low-GWP refrigerants.
  • Perform deep-dive technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex HVAC failures using 8D methodologies.
  • Coordinate project handovers to the O&M team by updating AutoCAD drawings and providing technical training and maintenance manuals.
  • Supervise HVAC contractors during high-risk tasks to ensure full compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Facilities management or Engineering, specifically focused on industrial HVAC system operations.
  • Proven experience in the electronics industry or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 14644 standards and environmental control requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing and reviewing mechanical/HVAC layouts.
  • Strong understanding of Chiller Plant systems, AHU/MAU operations, and psychrometric analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Practice License from the Council of Engineers Thailand.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or Building Automation Systems (BAS).
