About the role

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design of enterprise-class storage enclosures and servers, including hard drives, SSDs, and power supplies
  • Manage the full PCBA development lifecycle, including specification writing, schematic capture, layout oversight, and prototype coordination
  • Perform technical board bring-up, system integration, and extensive design verification testing
  • Release relevant data into revision control systems and collaborate with manufacturing to resolve production issues
  • Coordinate with product management, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs meet all regulatory and product requirements
  • Conduct design reviews and track schedules and resolutions while working with international suppliers

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 0-5+ years of PCBA development experience in computing, storage, or related fields
  • Expertise in digital circuit design
  • Understanding of high-speed circuit concepts (PCIe, Ethernet, SAS/SATA)
  • Experience implementing power circuits, including DC/DC converters and regulators
  • Proficiency with standard electrical lab equipment for design verification
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading hardware development teams
  • FPGA-based design experience, including programming and verification
  • Experience with high-performance server CPUs and implementations
  • Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry Capture and Allegro PCB Designer
