Staff Engineer, Digital Design Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the development of specifications, microarchitecture, and RTL design for digital modules.
• Contribute to and influence overall chip architecture.
• Provide technical and managerial leadership to digital design engineers working on IPs and functional blocks.
• Guide junior engineers in timing constraints, lint checks, synthesis, and static timing analysis.
• Collaborate with verification and physical design teams to ensure coverage and timing closure.
• Perform lint checks, clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis, and sanity synthesis runs.
• Support post-silicon debug activities.
• Hire, mentor, and guide design engineers both technically and managerially.

Requirements

• BTech/BE degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 10+ years of solid digital logic design experience in hands-on or technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on RTL coding and debugging skills.
• Experience with Lint, CDC, formal equivalence, ECO flows, and scripting.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills to drive discussions across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Audio and/or DSP fundamentals.
• Proven experience in mentoring junior engineers.
