Staff Engineer - Digital ASIC and Signal Processing Chip Architect/Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the definition and architecture of complex mixed-signal ICs and SDR chips, focusing on digital accelerators and subsystems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analog, RF, firmware, and software teams to ensure cohesive SoC and system-level design.
• Capture and maintain stakeholder requirements to ensure development teams remain aligned throughout the program.
• Support IC development programs from initial concept through tape-out and validation.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Engage with customers and ecosystem partners to define future SDR technologies and stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of digital IC design.
• Expertise in digital signal processing (DSP), RTL design, and digital architecture.
• Strong knowledge of firmware and embedded software.
• Deep understanding of radio architecture, signal chains, and microprocessor subsystems.
• Experience with digital modeling and hardware/software co-design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with system-level modeling and simulation using MATLAB, SystemVerilog, or Python.
• Working understanding of signal processing for high-speed ADCs/DACs.
• Knowledge of SerDes and high-speed interfaces.
• Familiarity with SoC integration, verification methodologies, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for requirements documentation and stakeholder engagement.
