Staff Engineer, Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Characterize next-generation Head technology design evaluations through detailed planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Provide comprehensive assessments of DOE (Design of Experiments) evaluation results.
• Review DOE evaluation requests to ensure test data plans align with evaluation objectives.
• Qualify new evaluation test data sets and verify data integrity prior to report publication.
• Ensure timely publication of first-level evaluation reports in accordance with program management cycle times.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, process, test, design, and PM teams worldwide to conduct experiments and resolve anomalies.
• Align all evaluations with Wafer design roadmaps, Back End Technology roadmaps, and product timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductors.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) industry.
