About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of software and system architecture for automated HSA/HDD assembly systems.
  • Design, code, and manage the test review process for assembly machine control software.
  • Integrate AI-based solutions and algorithms into automated assembly systems to enhance precision and productivity.
  • Develop AI-powered software frameworks featuring autonomous decision-making and optimization capabilities.
  • Interact with robotics, vision systems, and sensing devices within the assembly environment.
  • Coach junior engineers and manage software development priorities to meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including software release notices and validation results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yield, process efficiency, and reduce downtime.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
  • 5-10 years of experience in AI, Automation, Robotics, or Image Processing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning technologies.
  • Proficiency with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and Python.
  • Expertise in Computer Vision and Image Processing.
  • Proven ability to deploy and integrate AI models into automation or robotics systems.
  • Solid software engineering skills including data handling and system integration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OOP programming, UML design, Windows, and Linux.
  • Proficiency with PLC (Beckhoff, Keyence, Mitsubishi) and HMI systems.
  • Familiarity with PyTorch and OpenCV.
  • Knowledge of industrial AI applications and edge AI systems.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Device Net, and serial communication.
