Staff Engineer Design

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage as a technical lead a self-contained DFT team responsible for the DFT implementation of the latest Infineon microcontroller products
• Oversee scan insertion, ATPG, LBIST, and MBIST processes
• Verify DFT implementation and manage test pattern delivery for production testing
• Support silicon bringup activities to ensure the highest stability of test patterns
• Contribute to the development of the overall microcontroller DFT methodology
• Coordinate DFT workpackages, perform hands-on work, and provide status reporting
• Interface with project management, layout teams, and test engineering

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience in DFT of highly complex SoCs
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a similar field
• Expert knowledge of DFT methods for state-of-the-art MPU/MCU products
• Strong track record in scan insertion and ATPG
• Very good knowledge of DFT RTL insertion, including MBIST and SRAM repair
• Experience debugging test pattern issues
• Proficiency in programming or scripting
• Strong soft skills and experience in technical leadership
