Staff Engineer, CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for Python, C/C++, and CUDA codebases on Linux
• Architect and manage complex AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including IAM, S3, RDS, and EKS
• Provision and manage on-premises Linux HPC nodes and high-speed networking infrastructure
• Design and operate data ingestion pipelines and tiered storage strategies for high-volume experiment data
• Own deployment workflows for software delivered to embedded lab instruments
• Implement centralized logging and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
• Integrate agentic AI tools into CI/CD workflows to automate code review and pipeline troubleshooting

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud infrastructure roles
• Strong hands-on Linux expertise including administration and performance tuning
• Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Ability to read, debug, and build C/C++ and CUDA applications on Linux
• Experience managing on-premises Linux HPC infrastructure
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Step Functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying software to embedded or lab-operated instruments
• Experience with high-speed networking like InfiniBand or RDMA
• Experience with CUDA build toolchains and GPU-accelerated workloads
• Familiarity with Azure or GCP
• Experience with GitOps workflows and secrets management tools like Vault
