Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive technical adoption of next-generation Opteon™ refrigerants within the ACR market
• Provide direct technical support to OEM and aftermarket customers
• Create and deliver refrigerant-related training in-person and virtually at customer sites and industry conferences
• Conduct equipment testing to evaluate refrigerant performance in new and retrofit scenarios
• Support quality investigations through lab-based analytical techniques and troubleshooting
• Participate in industry Codes & Standards activities
• Develop refrigerant-related literature and publications to support industry education

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum of five years of ACR industry-related experience
• Expertise in ACR equipment design, installation, servicing, and/or troubleshooting
• Ability to travel regularly, up to 50%
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct refrigerant-related experience
• EPA 608 certification
• Demonstrated experience participating in Codes & Standards activities
