Staff Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop verification test plans based on design specifications
• Create and execute test cases across multiple platforms, including RTL simulation, FPGA prototyping, and Palladium emulation
• Implement verification test structures and DFX Verification
• Perform Gate-Level Simulations (GLS) and debug complex SoC designs
• Collaborate with design, architecture, and firmware teams to define verification strategies
• Drive coverage-driven verification methodologies and analyze functional coverage
• Contribute to the development of advanced verification environments using UVM and PSS testbenches
• Generate functional patterns required for Wafer Sorting and post-silicon testing

Requirements

• BE or MS in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering
• 4-8 years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification
• Deep understanding of SystemVerilog, UVM, and coverage-driven verification methodologies
• Proven experience verifying processor-based SoCs (ARM, RISC-V, or ARC)
• Experience with DFX Verification and generating functional patterns for post-silicon testing
• Proficiency in C programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, or BASH
• Knowledge of bus protocols (AXI, AHB, APB) and interfaces (PCIe, LPDDR, UART, I2C, SPI)
