About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of SoC verification and validation flows, including planning, execution, and closure.
  • Create comprehensive verification and validation plans for both pre- and post-silicon phases based on complex ASIC specifications.
  • Develop and execute tests, including firmware, bare-metal tests, and Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) code.
  • Perform debugging and root cause analysis of issues across digital logic, firmware, timing, and low-power domains.
  • Run complex SoC scenarios on Palladium or Emulation platforms to accelerate debug and improve coverage.
  • Build and maintain automated test environments, regression suites, and validation infrastructure.
  • Validate complex datapath flows and port scenarios across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.

Requirements

  • BE or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in SoC pre-/post-silicon verification, validation, and bring-up.
  • Proficiency in C, Python, or Perl for test automation and tool development.
  • Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM concepts.
  • Deep understanding of embedded programming and hardware/software co-validation methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industry-standard protocols such as PCIe, DDR, LPDDR, USB, or Ethernet.
  • Hands-on experience with Palladium or other Emulation platforms.
  • Experience with power-aware (UPF/CPF) validation and gate-level simulations.
  • Proficiency using JTAG, trace, and waveform capture for SoC debugging.
