Staff Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to define requirements for Emulation and Emulation IP development.
• Partner with ASIC engineers to deploy new technologies, including emulation acceleration and GenAI-driven verification.
• Bridge gaps between Emulation IP feature sets and Design IP verification for DFT and UPF acceleration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize verification workflows and standardize methodologies.
• Work with extended teams to debug environments and drive cross-functional testing across Firmware, Software, Verification, and Design.
• Triage failures and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements

• BE or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 6 to 9 years of professional experience in ASIC development or emulation.
• Solid experience with emulation platforms such as Veloce, Zebu, or Palladium (compilation, debug, and performance tuning).
• Proven expertise in HW/SW co-debug environments.
• Strong understanding of SystemVerilog UVM and verification methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python, TCL, and PERL for programming and automation.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
