About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of analog sub-blocks within the high-speed PHY, driving specification and implementation from transistor to block level
  • Perform circuit design, simulation, reliability testing, and mixed-mode simulations
  • Drive the layout of complex blocks through mask designers, ensuring compliance with process rules and DFM
  • Participate in internal and customer design reviews to explain design choices and robustness
  • Create IP EDA views, including Behavioral/Verilog-A, timing views, and abstracts
  • Participate in silicon bring-up, characterization, and correlation against models and simulations
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuit design
  • Expertise in deep sub-micron technologies (5–40 nm), specifically FinFET 10nm and below
  • Proven experience with high-speed memory interfaces (DDR3/4/5, LPDDR, GDDR) or SerDes interfaces (PCIe, MIPI, HDMI, USB)
  • Deep understanding of TX/RX equalization (FFE/CTLE/DFE) and CDR/clocking architectures
  • Proficiency in system-level modeling using VerilogA or Python
  • Experience with industry-standard tools such as Cadence ADE, Spectre, MATLAB, and Calibre
  • Strong knowledge of ESD, power delivery circuits (Bandgap, LDO, Bias), and mismatch analysis
  • BS/BE or M.S./M.Tech in Electronics
