Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead design for high-scale, multi-tenant SaaS systems
  • Set standards for engineering quality, testing, security, and reliability
  • Own cross-cutting technical initiatives that span multiple teams
  • Review system designs and provide guidance to senior and mid-level engineers
  • Build tools, frameworks, and abstractions to improve developer velocity
  • Partner with leadership to align engineering execution with company strategy

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years as a technical lead or staff-level engineer
  • Proven success scaling SaaS systems to enterprise-level demands
  • Expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and database design
  • Mastery of Kubernetes, CI/CD, and microservice architectures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical direction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HRTech, workforce management, or data-heavy SaaS
  • Public speaking, writing, or community contributions on technical topics
