Staff Engineer, Application Engineering – Technical Marketing

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers, internal teams, and business partners regarding RH850 microcontrollers and automotive ecosystems.
• Perform product training and workshops to drive technical understanding.
• Drive the market introduction of Renesas MCU products in cooperation with key customers.
• Contribute to the technical definition of new products by understanding critical customer requirements.
• Develop demos, application notes, and technical documentation.
• Travel to customer sites and business partners as required.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive applications and related ecosystems.
• Experience in embedded software and/or hardware development.
• Knowledge of MCU architectures, preferably RH850.
• Experience in measurements, debugging, and analyzing problems in customer projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German proficiency is preferred.
• Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country.
• Ability to work onsite in our electronic laboratory in Duesseldorf.
