Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of PCBA design including requirements, component selection, schematic/layout, DFM, bring up, and verification
  • Ensure PCBA designs meet safety, reliability, and compliance standards for high-power and hazardous systems
  • Create requirements, DFMEA/CFMEA, electrical block diagrams, simulations, and 8D reports
  • Work cross-functionally with System, Mechanical, Firmware, and Test teams to resolve Electrical System issues
  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of released PCBA designs
  • Document design concepts, architecture, and root cause investigations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years
  • Proficiency in Altium or equivalent ECAD software
  • Hands-on experience with power electronics (high voltage, high power, SMPS, LDO) and processing (MCU, MPU, SOM)
  • Experience with networking (Ethernet, CAN-FD, isoSPI) and on-board communication (SPI, UART, I2C, JTAG)
  • Understanding of safety and compliance in high-power or chemical environments
  • Experience designing PCBAs to UL 991, 1973, 9540, or 1998 requirements
  • Familiarity with PLM (Arena, Team Center), JIRA, and JAMA
