Staff Digital Twin Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and implementation for digital twin and simulation capabilities
• Apply MBSE methodologies to ensure traceability from requirements to implementation
• Develop simulation logic, behavioral models, and real-time simulation algorithms
• Create high-fidelity 3D models and environments using NVIDIA Omniverse
• Integrate engineering and operational data from telemetry, design systems, and infrastructure sources
• Establish engineering best practices for OpenUSD schemas and Omniverse workflows
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to other engineers

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 8+ years of engineering experience in automation, simulation, or controls
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse platform and Omniverse Kit
• Strong knowledge of OpenUSD / USD concepts and scene graph workflows
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for building production-quality tools
• Experience with data center operations or complex technical facility management
• Proven ability to lead complex technical tasks and collaborate across disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-performance computing, semiconductor, or robotics environments
• Knowledge of rack and blade design (power, cooling, cabling, mechanical constraints)
• Experience with synthetic data generation and sensor simulation
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, ROS, or CAD/CAE tools
• Understanding of AI, machine learning, and accelerated computing
