Staff DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the platform vision and deliver incremental improvements across hybrid cloud and bare-metal environments.
• Lead high-impact platform projects from initial design through to full implementation.
• Mentor and elevate platform engineers to raise the technical bar and foster a culture of excellence.
• Drive technical decisions, engineering best practices, and standards for robust, scalable systems.
• Build self-service platform capabilities to improve developer experience and standardized workflows.
• Accelerate continuous delivery by streamlining CI/CD pipelines to minimize manual toil.
• Lead reliability and observability initiatives, including postmortems, SLO implementation, and resilience patterns.

Requirements

• 16–20+ years of experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise in hybrid cloud and bare-metal environments.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
• Proven experience operating high-scale distributed applications and large-scale data pipelines.
• Deep expertise in Elasticsearch and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong background in CI/CD, automation, and container orchestration.
• Ability to apply a product mindset to platform engineering to solve systemic issues for internal users.
