Staff DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain blockchain RPC nodes across multiple chains and geographic regions
• Manage Kubernetes clusters representing the underlying platform for all blockchain nodes
• Perform rolling upgrades and hard fork migrations for blockchain clients
• Operate on-call rotations and triage live incidents via PagerDuty
• Develop and maintain AI agents and automation tooling for health checks and auto-healing
• Deploy and manage services via ArgoCD and GitOps workflows using Helm charts
• Manage bare-metal and cloud infrastructure including provisioning and benchmarking
• Collaborate cross-functionally on chain deprecations, capacity planning, and SLO reporting

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-region, multi-cloud production systems
• Experience with Kubernetes (k3s or similar), including StatefulSets and storage management
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.)
• Experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD and Helm
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and bare-metal management
• Strong grasp of observability tooling including Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager
• Experience with networking and configuring VPC networks
• Ability to work in an on-call environment and triage production incidents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service mesh deployments such as Istio
• Experience with microservice architecture and web applications
• Experience working in startup environments
• Passion for blockchain technologies and Web3
