Staff Development Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new employee orientation, pre-service, and childcare training programs
• Develop and maintain lesson plans, instructional materials, and supporting documentation
• Design, implement, and evaluate training initiatives aligned with organizational objectives
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, and business activities for childcare training programs
• Facilitate engaging training experiences using instructional technology and classroom management
• Support continuous quality improvement (CQI) through data collection, analysis, and program evaluation
• Collaborate with Youth Programs and cross-functional teams on organizational learning strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Services, or a related field
• Proficiency in applying adult learning principles to training design and evaluation
• Strong technical writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Windows applications
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Business, or Human Services
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, preferably in a residential childcare setting
