Staff Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Accelerate application development by leveraging existing enterprise platforms.
• Drive feature innovation and architectural decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver customer value.
• Work across multiple layers of the technology stack with a focus on backend and DevOps.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Java development, preferably within enterprise cloud software.
• Proficiency with open-source technologies: Spring, PostGres, Maven, Git, Mockito, Tomcat, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and containerization tools: AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Expert-level SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and container orchestration (ECS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• A strong interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
