About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Spark, SQL, Delta, and Streaming issues
- Build rapid POCs and deploy solutions to address customer challenges
- Develop playbooks and maintain a knowledge base for Spark, ML, and AI workflows
- Train customer engineering teams on performance tuning and debugging best practices
- Collaborate with Field Engineering, Sales, and Product teams to provide rapid solutions to production issues
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary technical point of contact for strategic customers
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in distributed computing applications
- 4+ years delivering production-scale Spark/ML/AI solutions using Python, Java, or Scala
- Hands-on expertise with Data Lakes, SQL databases, and Cloud Data Warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Deep knowledge of Spark core internals, Delta/Iceberg, JVM optimization, and memory management
- Proficiency in AI ecosystems including Machine Learning and Generative AI
- Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and CI/CD pipelines
- 3–5 years in customer-facing roles such as Technical Account Manager or Solutions Architect
