Staff Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze digital and analog circuits, including simulating, optimizing, and floor planning HBM Base die and Core DRAM die circuits.
• Develop schematic blocks such as memory arrays, input/output buffers, control logic, address decode, datapath, and internal test logic.
• Design analog circuits including LDO, pumps, reference generators, and BGR.
• Perform circuit simulations using industry-standard simulators such as FINESIM, HSPICE, and VERILOG.
• Lead the floor-planning process, including placement and routing optimization.
• Oversee the layout process and import layout parasitic information into circuit simulation environments.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Product Engineering, Test, Process Integration, and Assembly to optimize HBM products.
• Contribute to design documentation and communicate best practices across the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience in circuit design or a related occupation.
• Expertise in CMOS circuit design, device physics, and high-speed circuit design/optimization.
• Proficiency in System Verilog for developing memory behavioral models.
• Experience with HBM specification, design, and verification.
• Strong knowledge of Verilog Testbench development and UVM.
• Experience with layout extraction (SPF, SDF, etc.) and Verilog-Spice Co-Sim.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Tcl.
