Staff Data Scientist, Product Analytics

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex product problems and shape strategy through data.
• Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, driving roadmaps through insights and recommendations.
• Work with large and complex data sets to solve business problems using various analytical and statistical approaches.
• Apply technical expertise in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to develop product strategies.
• Identify and measure the success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of industry experience and a degree in a quantitative field.
• Expert proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python or R).
• Strong ability to perform statistical analysis to drive data-informed decisions.
• Proven experience communicating complex analytical results to executives and cross-functional teams to influence strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in technology, financial services, or a high-growth environment.
• Experience in schema design and dimensional data modeling.
