Staff Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and actionable insights using mathematics, statistics, and machine learning to optimize global manufacturing operations.
• Design and deploy computer vision models for object detection, image segmentation, and anomaly detection.
• Extract, cleanse, and integrate large datasets from multiple disparate sources using SQL and other query languages.
• Coordinate production deployment activities, including cross-functional communications and execution of changes in live environments.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in machine learning and computer vision to apply advancements to real-world industrial problems.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, UX teams, and Business Area Engineers to identify and solve complex data analysis challenges.

Requirements

• Master or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Statistics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations research or optimization.
• Strong foundation in linear programming, optimization modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and C#.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in web technologies including Angular, FastAPI, and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and generative AI.
• Experience working with terabytes and petabytes of diverse datasets in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
