Staff Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect a next-generation data platform, optimizing Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and real-time CDC pipelines for enterprise scale
• Design secure, compliant partner data delivery systems via Snowflake shares, S3/SFTP integrations, and Marketplace listings
• Create mission-critical financial reporting pipelines with exceptional accuracy and reliability
• Establish company-wide data standards for modeling, lineage, contracts, and orchestration
• Champion data reliability, observability, and trust across all systems
• Lead and mentor engineering teams through architecture reviews and the creation of reusable frameworks

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with experience owning platform-level architecture
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks
• Strong background in external data sharing and partner integrations (Snowflake data shares, S3/SFTP)
• Proven ability to design and implement data governance and observability systems
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with an emphasis on testing, CI/CD, and maintainability
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence technical and business leadership
