Staff Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead data strategy for regulatory engagements including ETL development and source data validation
• Connect regulatory expectations and commitments to Compliance and Product roadmaps
• Harness raw data to educate internal and external partners on the impact of new regulations and policies
• Collaborate with legal and engineering teams to inform strategic builds of compliance program elements
• Establish leadership by connecting insights to action through expert communication
• Lead multiple high-impact workstreams by navigating levels of abstraction in communications

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree
• 5+ years of Compliance or AML experience
• Expert level SQL skills
• Expert level data analysis and visualization skills (Tableau, Looker)
• Expert in ETL development
• Proven track record of solving complex problems using technical expertise
• Experience bringing data to life through written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS or other AML certification
• Experience in FinTech or consulting industry
• Experience with financial crimes compliance systems and technologies
• Experience with automation using Python, R, or Prefect
