About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of security controls across applications, cloud infrastructure, identity systems, networks, endpoints, and enterprise platforms
  • Own and evolve core cybersecurity platforms, including integration, automation, and lifecycle management of security tooling and services
  • Develop and automate security tooling, detection logic, workflows, and validation processes
  • Build cohesive security capabilities by integrating systems, telemetry, and controls
  • Support incident response and investigations with technical analysis and remediation guidance
  • Identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation strategies
  • Define and improve secure engineering standards, architectures, and guardrails
  • Improve observability through logging, detection engineering, and monitoring
  • Apply threat modeling and adversarial thinking to strengthen defenses
  • Lead technical discussions and mentor engineers

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience
  • Experience leading complex security initiatives as a senior individual contributor
  • Expertise in multiple security domains such as cloud, IAM, or detection engineering
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
  • Experience securing production systems and modern architectures
  • Ability to write scripts or code for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response
  • Strong communication and ability to operate independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent experience
