Staff Cybersecurity Controls Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee risks and controls for information security objectives across the enterprise
• Partner with security leaders to identify and document information security risks
• Execute formal Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities
• Coordinate monitoring activities with 2LOD and audit teams
• Prepare committee materials, briefings, and summary reports for executive audiences
• Drive accountability with process owners for timely remediation of security control issues
• Provide subject matter guidance on information security policies and standards
• Communicate information security risk posture to senior management

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management within financial services or banking
• Experience managing first or second line of defense risk and controls activity
• Experience interacting with information security teams to measure control effectiveness
• Background in external audit, internal audit, or 2LOD information security risk
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and best practices
• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
