Staff Customer Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise customer implementations, from initial sales engagement through post-deployment validation.
• Work directly within the product codebase to submit PRs, test, and ship customer-specific solutions.
• Architect and build reusable patterns, playbooks, and implementation models to accelerate future customer engagements.
• Translate customer pain points into actionable product feedback to influence the engineering roadmap.
• Establish an AI-native engineering workflow, utilizing AI tools for writing, testing, and debugging code.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Engineering to act as a trusted technical voice.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, including a proven track record of owning customer-facing technical engagements end-to-end.
• Demonstrated ability to architect reusable solutions and mentor other engineers.
• Proficiency in navigating and contributing to complex, unfamiliar codebases.
• Strong fluency with data and integrations, including event schemas, data pipelines, APIs, and SDKs.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Python, Node.js, and AWS.
• Ability to operate autonomously across multiple concurrent customer engagements.
• High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and a focus on delivering measurable customer outcomes.
