Staff Customer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to identify and prioritize high-impact AI-driven use cases
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding technical decision-making toward scalable AI solutions
• Design, integrate, and deploy AI/ML-based solutions across cloud and in-vehicle environments
• Develop and iterate AI models, PoCs, and production-ready solutions based on real-world data
• Lead technical discussions regarding AI feasibility, model performance, and system limitations
• Identify and mitigate risks related to AI deployment, such as data availability and security constraints
• Collaborate with internal AI Platform, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance platform scalability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering
• Exposure to automotive software or vehicle systems
• Solid understanding of machine learning, data analytics, and AI-based systems
• Experience designing data pipelines and analytics workflows
• Strong experience deploying software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience integrating platform-based solutions with external systems and APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to influence customer direction and communicate complex technical concepts
• Experience in customer engineering or forward-deployed engineering roles is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree
• Familiarity with Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or data-driven automation
