About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational excellence initiatives and implement the Crayola Operating System across manufacturing areas.
  • Manage a portfolio of continuous improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, cost, and risk reduction.
  • Drive the practical and responsible use of AI by identifying high-value use cases and supporting the rollout of AI-enabled tools.
  • Coach and develop employees and CI pillar leads in Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops, value stream mapping sessions, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
  • Partner with department leaders to translate business needs into measurable improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption, automation, analytics, or AI-related initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work 8+ hours on second and/or third shifts per week.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 10-15%.
  • Proven leadership in a cross-functional team environment and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Black Belt Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree.
