Responsibilities

  • Own and manage multi-quarter capacity plans and allocation models for core infrastructure resources (CPUs and multi-tiered Storage platforms).
  • Analyze demand signals, historical workload profiles, and product roadmaps to build precise resource consumption forecasts.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, SRE, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain to translate product forecasts into hardware allocations.
  • Balance structural cost efficiency, infrastructure unit economics, and hardware utilization targets against technical availability.
  • Define operational metrics and partner with Software Engineering to architect and implement automated capacity workflows and dashboards.
  • Perform complex data mining across hardware usage metrics and financial billing pipelines to ensure model accuracy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Capacity Planning, Infrastructure Systems Engineering, or Technical Product Management.
  • Deep technical knowledge of enterprise server configurations, CPU sizing, and File, Object, and Block storage infrastructures.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
