Staff Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple civil engineering projects throughout planning, design, bid, and construction phases
• Develop high-quality civil engineering deliverables including construction documents, drawings, and calculations
• Proactively communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external stakeholders
• Review vendor drawings and drive multi-disciplinary coordination across structural, mechanical, and electrical teams
• Manage external civil engineering consultants including scope, deliverables, and budget
• Perform constructability reviews and support permitting and agency coordination
• Ensure compliance with company engineering processes, applicable codes, and safety requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with Nevada licensure or ability to obtain via comity within 2 months
• 5+ years of experience designing high-tech/industrial infrastructure or battery energy storage systems
• Experience in stormwater management, SWPPPs, heavy civil, and wastewater
• Background in site development including roadways, grading, and utility systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, and NFPA
• Ability to travel up to 10% between Nevada plant sites
