Responsibilities
- Establish a robust qualification process for electrolyte of products in partnership with vendors
- Develop a strategy for maintaining and evaluating electrolyte specs to ensure lifetime performance
- Design and execute experiments to refine electrolyte product integration and maintenance
- Characterize cells and individual components using solution-based or materials characterization techniques
- Define decommission and passivation processes across different scales
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of industrial experience in product and process development
- Direct experience in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and result interpretation
- Experience with aqueous electro-chemistry and related characterization techniques
- Ability to perform and interpret data from analytical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, UV-Vis, and titrations
- Safety-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate on new methods and practices within a multidisciplinary team
