Staff Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Influence team culture by promoting deep technical analysis to identify system optimization opportunities
• Apply software engineering best practices to ensure scalability, resilience, and performance
• Foster innovation by proposing and experimenting with new technologies and methodologies
• Identify areas for improvement and act as a technical reference for the platform team
• Handle conflicts in a healthy manner and collaborate with different stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership and software development in high-complexity environments
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture and high availability solutions
• Experience with queues, topics, and asynchronous communication (SQS, SNS, Kafka, etc.)
• Knowledge of Cloud environments, specifically AWS, and scalability vision
• Proficiency with Linux, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Solid knowledge in Java, Kotlin, or Rust

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI and Machine Learning
