Staff Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate multi-functionally with Product, Client Solution, and other engineering teams to deliver holistic client onboarding solutions
• Write well-designed, tested, and performant code to solve complex engineering problems
• Lead individual projects, including ownership of technical solution design, architecture, timelines, and implementation
• Communicate technical ideas and steer project direction from an engineering standpoint
• Mentor and guide other engineers on the team to foster technical growth

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data processing and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data processing and analysis using PySpark or similar frameworks
• Experience building and managing data systems using AWS
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to take ideas from inception to production
